PuppySpot continues to work with the various chapters of Make-A-Wish to help grant puppy wishes for children with critical illnesses. Our first puppy wish of the year was granted with Make-A-Wish Central & Northern Florida. When they reached out to us, the chapter was working on a puppy wish for four-year-old Daniel, a resilient little boy battling a blood disorder.
Daniel has always been around dogs and just loves them. He gets so excited when he sees any dog. One day, he saw a blue French Bulldog and decided that was his dream puppy! So, we worked with wish manager Samantha to make his dream a reality.
After working some magic, we helped Daniel and his family find Weston, an adorable blue Frenchie. Next, we worked with Weston’s breeder to schedule his nose to tail vet exam to get him ready for a safe flight home. Once he was all clear, Weston flew on a PuppySpot Air charter plane to Orlando where he was welcomed by PuppySpot VP of Customer Experience, James Baier. 
Once James spent some time giving Weston some puppy love, he was on his way to meet Daniel! Daniel knew he was getting a puppy, but he had no idea when he was coming. The look on Daniel’s face was priceless upon meeting Weston (now Maui). Its moments like this that bring hope and positivity into this world.
