A Little Faith for Connecticut Wish Child

Throughout these unprecedented times, Make-A-Wish has continued their mission to help children with critical illnesses receive a life-changing wish. The pandemic has certainly caused hurdles for travel-related wishes, but that doesn’t stop the magic from happening! Recently, one type of wish has become quite popular; puppy wishes! That is where PuppySpot comes in to help.

When we heard from Make-A-Wish Connecticut, they were working on a wish for an 11-year-old girl named Sanara. Sanara has had a strong battle against hemolytic uremic syndrome, a condition that affects the blood and blood vessels. She has always had a love of animals. Her wish is to get a small dog who would become her best friend. She is excited to have a companion to be by her side, someone she can also care for. Well, after a long fight, she has made a recovery and is finally able to receive her wish!

With all the adorable, small puppies available on the PuppySpot site, it was a hard choice to make. Ultimately, Sanara decided on a sweet, black and fawn Yorkiepoo by the name of Faith. Once the decision was made, we worked with Faith’s breeder to schedule a nose-to-tail veterinary exam to make sure she was healthy, happy, and ready for travel! After receiving the all-clear, Faith was ready to travel VIP style on our PuppySpot Air charter plane!

Upon Faith’s arrival to Connecticut, she was welcomed by Wish Granters Carrie and Steve. They took loving care of Faith until her new family was ready to meet her! Wish day was memorable for all involved. The event was hosted by Make-A-Wish Connecticut at their wonderfully imaginative headquarters. Thank you, Make-A-Wish Connecticut for trusting PuppySpot to bring a little Faith into Sanara’s life!
