Goberian Characteristics

The Goberian is a fantastically sociable hybrid mix between a Golden Retriever and a Siberian Husky. These two highly popular breeds combine to create a wonderful companion dog that retains most of the desirable qualities from each parent. Smart, loyal, and energetic, the Goberian fits perfectly into many family's households.

Few dogs are as friendly and charming as the Golden Retriever.  Combining this with the intelligence of the Husky yields a dog that is ready to learn any trick in the book and loves you for teaching it to them. These dogs come in a variety of colors and coats depending on their parents and can easily be mistaken for other breeds.
 
Standing around 20-24 inches and weighing between 45-90 pounds, the Goberian can be medium or large depending on its heritage. The Goberian is a very energetic breed and will want to join you in all your outdoor activities. Between 1-2 hours of vigorous daily exercise is recommended to ensure enough mental stimulation and prevent bad behavior while at home. These dogs are typically very mild-mannered, but early socialization and obedience training is still recommended to ensure total control over your Goberian.  
 
These dogs come with a double coat that can either be straight or wavy. The second layer makes them well prepared for cold climates, making warmer climates dangerous. Be sure your Goberian has plenty of shade and cool water when playing outside in the summer.  The double coat comes in black, white, and brown and causes continuous shedding, so regular grooming and brushing are recommended.
