Miniature Schnauzer

The puppies just perfectly amazing. I drove 900 miles to get them. Fortunately, Alan, for whom I secured the purchases from, continued to respond to my concerns and boosted my confidence that I would actually receive puppies when I arrived on site. PuppySpot app sucks and does nothing but create a time consuming circle to nowhere

The smallest and most popular of the Schnauzers, the Miniature Schnauzer originated in the late 1800s as a small farm dog in Germany. All the Schnauzers get their name from one individual dog named "Schnauzer" who lived around 1879—an appropriate name since Schnauzer means "small beard."

Miniature Schnauzers are the smallest of the Schnauzer Breed. They typically stand around 13-14 inches at the shoulder and come in brown, black, and other colored coats. Don't let his stature fool you, though. Miniature Schnauzers are not afraid of picking fights with larger dogs, and this can sometimes get them into trouble. While he may think he is larger than he is sometimes, the Miniature Schnauzer's size makes him a great city dog, and only requires a moderate amount of exercise.

Mini Schnauzers make excellent watchdogs, and will likely bark at anyone they don't know or could be perceived as a threat. Their intelligence and stature allow them to excel in obedience training and agility competitions. These dogs are also great at performing tricks, standing on their sturdy rear legs, and walking upright for short periods is not unheard of. A stout and smart dog, the Miniature Schnauzer is a lively, smart, affectionate, and relatively low-shedding dog. He makes a fine addition to an active family.

How dog-friendly is Washington?

Very!! Washington is consistently ranked quite high in lists of the most pet-friendly states – thanks to its pet-friendly restaurants, parks, and wonderful outdoors scene.

In fact, Safewise ranked Washington as the most pet-friendly state in the country. There are several important factors behind Washington’s rating but the strongest is the high number of pet-friendly rentals. Washington ranks second among all states with 55% of rentals accepting pets.

A similar study from Pawsafe didn’t put Washington in first place, but still ranked them fairly well at 19th of all 50 states. They also placed Washington ninth for animal welfare laws related to abuse, neglect, fighting, or pet care standards.

Is Seattle a good place for pet ownership?

WalletHub analyzed the 100 largest cities in the United States to find the most pet-friendly city. Their research looked at a variety of factors, with their primary focus on pet budget, health and wellness, and outdoor pet-friendly activities.

In the study, Wallethub graded Seattle as the 17th most pet-friendly city. The city performed well for pet health and wellness, and outdoor pet-friendliness, ranking 18th and 11th respectively. Pet care is more expensive in Seattle, so the city ended up in 70th place for pet budget. The study also found Seattle to have the highest number of dog-friendly restaurants per capita.

A study from the Trust for Public Land (TPL) showed that Seattle has the 20th highest number of dog parks per capita, with two dog parks per 100,000 residents.
