Black Mouth Cur’s origin is unknown, but it’s thought this breed had developed from ancient European and Asian cur-type dogs. This breed is very energetic, fearless, and strong. They love to be around humans and their pet family. They also make excellent guard dogs. They are great with young children, but early training and socialization are important, otherwise, they can play rough. This is a very intelligent breed, but they need to learn through trainings that their pet parent is the boss. Black Mouth Cur is not an aggressive breed, but they can be territorial. Their weight ranges between 50 and 100 pounds.
