The Border-Aussie, also known as an Australian Collie, comes from crossbreeding the Australian Shepherd and the Border Collie. Both parent breeds are highly intelligent herding dogs with lots of energy and similar physical structure, so you can expect the same from the Border-Aussie. They make great companions for an active person or a family with kids. They do require socialization from a young age with kids and smaller pets, as they tend to have a strong instinct to herd them. The Border-Aussie is an active breed that is not suited for apartment life and will require plenty of daily exercise to keep them mentally and physically stimulated.
