Cairnoodle

The Cairnoodle, also known as a Cairnpoo or Poocan, comes from crossbreeding the Cairn Terrier and the Poodle. This breed is a combination of the friendly and energetic Poodle bred to the busy, fearless earthdog disposition of the Cairn Terrier. There is no lack of personality when it comes to the Cairnoodle. This lively, energetic, and highly intelligent hybrid will keep you on the move and will enjoy a good walk around the neighborhood or socializing with other dogs at the park. As with any intelligent breed, they can become bored easily, so lots of toys, playtime, and even agility training will provide them with plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Their medium to long coat is also considered low-shedding and requires daily brushing to keep it free of tangles. The Cairnoodle is an excellent companion for any active adult or family looking for a smaller dog that is always ready to go on an adventure.
