Chug is a designer crossbreed between the Chihuahua and the Pug and it was originally produced in the USA in the early 2000s. Chug’s personality is like being goofy, running around all the time, or being loyal. This breed is very cuddly and playful but on the other hand it can be very territorial as well. Chug is a great watchdog; he will alert you at any time when he feels something suspicious. This breed doesn’t fit into a family with small children because, due to their tiny size, they can get hurt easily by excited children. With early socialization, Chugs can get along well with other pets if they are introduced to each other calmly and slowly. This silly goofball breed has a high energy level, so make sure they get enough daily walks and playtime. The size of the Chug is about 10 to 14 inches, and its weight is between 10 and 20 pounds.
