The Pooda Houla, also known as a Leoparddoodle, comes from crossbreeding the Catahoula Leopard Dog and the Poodle. They are a medium to large-sized designer breed with a short, dense coat. They make great companion dogs, as they prefer to be with their person. They can be a little leery around strangers, so it is important that they receive an adequate amount of socialization from a young age.  They’re also playful and curious, making them great playmates for children. They’re intelligent due to their Poodle heritage, but will require consistency when it comes to training. The Pooda Houla is an active breed that enjoys playing outside and will require a moderate amount of daily exercise to keep them mentally and physically stimulated.
