PuppySpot Helps Raise Funds for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation By PuppySpot Team • November 13, 2021 PuppySpot team of professionals contribute to everything Puppy. Years of puppy owning experience and know how, these authors provide details on everything from ownership to training to grooming. Every year the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation hosts a Cheers to a Cure event. The annual event, hosted in New Jersey, helps the Foundation raise funds to continue their programs and research. The event features a fun night of cocktails, amazing food, and exciting auction prizes! Funds raised at the auction contribute to their efforts to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The mission of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. The Foundation sponsors basic and clinical research of the highest quality and offers a wide range of educational programs for patients and healthcare professionals. These programs are supported solely through donors, grants, fundraising efforts, and sponsors. The Foundation has invested more than $400 million in research toward cures since its inception. In 2020 alone, $31 million has funded over 200 studies at over 100 US and international institutions! PuppySpot has helped support the cause by donating a puppy to the Cheers to a Cure event. PuppySpot has previously donated puppies at past events to help raise over $2500 for the cause. The puppy is chaperoned to the event as a VIP member with a PuppySpot representative. Once a winner is determined, they are screened to ensure a loving, fitting home for the puppy. This year, we donated an adorable Cavapoo puppy and were able to help raise $6900 for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation!
