About american hairless terriers

This breed was originally bred in Louisiana in the 1970s, and it’s identical to the medium-sized Rat Terrier. American Hairless Terrier (AHT) is a well-muscled dog with strong shoulders, a solid neck, and powerful legs. Just like other terriers, AHT is a very smart and intelligent dog with lots of energy. They are playful and fast. They require long daily walks. They need proper training because they can be territorial. This breed is really good for young kids, especially if they are socialized with them from puppyhood. They behave really well with strangers; also, they are excellent watchdogs. This breed usually weighs 12 to 16 pounds, and their height is usually between 12 and 16 inches.
