  • Smooth Fox Terriers’ ancestors are not documented; however, they were originated from England in the 18th century. This breed is very playful and energetic; they require lots of daily exercise, and they can’t be ignored. They have a very muscular body; they live to run, to chase, and to explore. This breed tends to bark and dig and is usually reserved with strangers. Smooth Fox Terrier can be trained easily, but it needs strong control because of the desire to hunt. They are very affectionate and make excellent guard dogs and watchdogs with a tendency of being vocal. The average height of the Smooth Fox Terrier is 13 to 15 inches, and the weight ranges from 16 to 18 pounds.
