Hi, I'm Sophie! I'm a 2-week-old female Havamalt. My dad is a Maltese and my mom is a Havanese. I have a beautiful black & white coat, and I was born on July 29. I'll be ready to go home to my forever family after September 23, once I'm grown enough to leave my litter. When I reach my adult size, I should weigh between 8–10 lbs. I may nibble your shoelaces, but I'll fill your life with love.

When is Sophie ready to leave her mom?
Young puppies have delicate immune systems, so we and our breeders take extra care to ensure they're fully prepared for travel. Sophie must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds or more before traveling. If Sophie weighs less than 2.5 pounds, Sophie will be eligible to travel at 12 weeks per federal guidelines.
