About aussiedors

The Aussiedor, also known as an Australian Shepador, comes from crossbreeding the Australian Shepherd and the Labrador Retriever. This high-energy hybrid is known for being kind, loyal, and intelligent. The Aussiedor is a sensitive breed that bonds quickly to their human companion so they require a lot of attention. Their contagious energy makes them a great dog for a family with kids and other active pets. With their Australian Shepherd instincts, they might even try to herd members of their family, especially children. They can be suspicious of strangers so it is important to socialize them from a young age with people and other pets outside of the household. They do require a lot of daily activity to keep them both mentally and physically stimulated in order to prevent boredom from setting in. A well-trained and socialized Aussiedor makes for a loving and loyal friend for life.
