Hi, I'm Murphy! I'm a 2-week-old male Basset Hound with a beautiful black, white & tan coat, born on August 19. I'll be ready to go home to my forever family after October 14, once I'm grown enough to leave my litter. When I reach my adult size, I should weigh between 35–70 lbs. I'm AKC registered. I'm ready to be your best friend and cuddle buddy for life.

When is Murphy ready to leave his mom?
Young puppies have delicate immune systems, so we and our breeders take extra care to ensure they're fully prepared for travel. Murphy must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds or more before traveling. If Murphy weighs less than 2.5 pounds, Murphy will be eligible to travel at 12 weeks per federal guidelines.
