Hi, I'm Hank! I'm a 5-week-old male German Shepherd Dog with a beautiful black & tan coat, born on June 23. I'll be ready to go home to my forever family after August 18, once I'm grown enough to leave my litter. When I reach my adult size, I should weigh between 60–110 lbs. I'm AKC registered. I love to play fetch; it's my favorite game. When I get tired, I will come and curl up next to you so we can go to sleep.

When is Hank ready to leave his mom?
Young puppies have delicate immune systems, so we and our breeders take extra care to ensure they're fully prepared for travel. Hank must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds or more before traveling. If Hank weighs less than 2.5 pounds, Hank will be eligible to travel at 12 weeks per federal guidelines.
