Hi, I'm Chap! I'm a 4-week-old male Miniature Schnauzer with a beautiful black coat, born on May 21. I'll be ready to go home to my forever family after July 17, once I'm grown enough to leave my litter. When I reach my adult size, I should weigh between 7–12 lbs. I'm AKC registered. I'm the kind of friend who will always be there—especially during snack time.

When is Chap ready to leave his mom?
Young puppies have delicate immune systems, so we and our breeders take extra care to ensure they're fully prepared for travel. Chap must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds or more before traveling. If Chap weighs less than 2.5 pounds, Chap will be eligible to travel at 12 weeks per federal guidelines.
