Hi, I'm Buddy! I'm a 4-week-old male Dachshund with a beautiful silver dapple coat, born on May 15. I'll be ready to go home to my forever family after July 17, once I'm grown enough to leave my litter. I'm AKC registered. Some might even say I'm a tennis ball connoisseur! I like anything that gets my tail wagging. I can play for hours, then curl up for a good 'ol nap.

Bringing Buddy home
When is Buddy ready to leave his mom?
Young puppies have delicate immune systems, so we and our breeders take extra care to ensure they're fully prepared for travel. Buddy must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds or more before traveling. If Buddy weighs less than 2.5 pounds, Buddy will be eligible to travel at 12 weeks per federal guidelines.
