Bringing Bitsy home
When is Bitsy ready to leave her mom?
Young puppies have delicate immune systems, so we and our breeders take extra care to ensure they're fully prepared for travel. Bitsy must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds or more before traveling. If Bitsy weighs less than 2.5 pounds, Bitsy will be eligible to travel at 12 weeks per federal guidelines.
