Hi, I'm Jax! I'm a 2-week-old male Dachshund with a beautiful chocolate dapple coat, born on July 20. I'll be ready to go home to my forever family after September 14, once I'm grown enough to leave my litter. When I reach my adult size, I should weigh between 10–16 lbs. I'm AKC registered. I'm looking forward to all our future cuddles and adventures.

When is Jax ready to leave his mom?
Young puppies have delicate immune systems, so we and our breeders take extra care to ensure they're fully prepared for travel. Jax must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds or more before traveling. If Jax weighs less than 2.5 pounds, Jax will be eligible to travel at 12 weeks per federal guidelines.
