Great service....Easy communication
The experience went smoothly; however, I was given misinformation about the puppy I bought. I chose a puppy based on personality, color and expected size. Three puppy's were listed from the same breeder. I asked Mike which puppy, between my final two choices, would be the smallest. After purchase, I talked to the breeder and was told I received the wrong information. I got the much larger puppy and I wanted the smaller one. The breeder said PuppySpot should always have the customer talk to the breeder. I was not even told by Mike that was possible I feel PuppySpot should reimburse me some money for the misinformation given on the two puppy's. The breeder indicated he would have recommended Kylie instead of Hillary based on my preferences. A four star is a gift as a rating. $3,000 is a lot to pay and I was given the wrong information. Also, the dog was shipped on a day of a storm and experienced a long delay. My vet said the dog arrived really traumatized. That was obvious to me before I took her to the vet.
I was happy with the experience. Not thrilled with the travel arrangements. Thought the idea of no shots for a period of weeks was overstated. Being current on shots does not mean more shots are not due within days of arrival. I obtained a beautiful and entertaining cyclone. Now lots of work for a good while. Liked what I heard from the breeder. Thought the selections were great but prices were high across the board compared to direct contact with breeders in this area.
You changed air carriers, we were not informed thus we went to the wrong station. Fortunately, we got a phone call as we were leaving to pick-up the puppy, however, we could not understand the ladies English, thus we drove around for an hour, lost in the night of the evening, finally found the freight station area but went to the wrong carrier....called the phone number she gave and finally found our puppy. Not only haven't you mentioned any complications during our previous communications with you, but we also confirmed that, prior to your puppy's arrival, we sent updated travel details to you that clearly indicated both arrival time and airline information. In addition, as we did with you, we recommend all customers call ahead to the scheduled airport and airline with waybill information to mitigate any potential for confusion or delays prior to arrival. Finally, as soon as we received this feedback from you, one of our internal travel agents was quick to reach out to learn more about your experience and see what we could have done better. Your relationship began, it did not end, when we matched you with your puppy, so please never hesitate to reach back out if there's anything we can do to help.
My mini dachshund puppy named Millie arrived on time in wonderful condition. Everyone we dealt with was kind and knowledgeable and addressed all of our concerns. I will recommend you to anyone looking for a puppy!
