Hi, I'm Jalissa! I'm a 5-week-old female Dachshund with a beautiful red dapple coat, born on July 13. I'll be ready to go home to my forever family after September 8, once I'm grown enough to leave my litter. When I reach my adult size, I should weigh between 9–10 lbs. I'm APRI registered. I will love you just as much as I love chasing my tail.

When is Jalissa ready to leave her mom?
Young puppies have delicate immune systems, so we and our breeders take extra care to ensure they're fully prepared for travel. Jalissa must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds or more before traveling. If Jalissa weighs less than 2.5 pounds, Jalissa will be eligible to travel at 12 weeks per federal guidelines.
