Hi, I'm Speedy! I'm a 4-week-old male Dachshund with a beautiful red coat, born on July 19. I'll be ready to go home to my forever family after September 13, once I'm grown enough to leave my litter. When I reach my adult size, I should weigh between 8–14 lbs. I'm AKC registered. One puppy kiss, and you'll never want to let me go, I just know it.

Bringing Speedy home
When is Speedy ready to leave his mom?
Young puppies have delicate immune systems, so we and our breeders take extra care to ensure they're fully prepared for travel. Speedy must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds or more before traveling. If Speedy weighs less than 2.5 pounds, Speedy will be eligible to travel at 12 weeks per federal guidelines.
