Hi, I'm George
Hi, I'm George! I'm a 6-week-old male Dachshund with a beautiful chocolate dapple coat, born on July 14. I'll be ready to go home to my forever family after September 9, once I'm grown enough to leave my litter. When I reach my adult size, I should weigh between 9–12 lbs. I'm AKC registered. We can shop for puppy toys together, take long walks or just stay at home watch a good movie on TV.

When is George ready to leave his mom?
Young puppies have delicate immune systems, so we and our breeders take extra care to ensure they're fully prepared for travel. George must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds or more before traveling. If George weighs less than 2.5 pounds, George will be eligible to travel at 12 weeks per federal guidelines.
