Hi, I'm Shiner! I'm a 6-week-old female Dachshund with a beautiful silver dapple coat, born on July 14. I'll be ready to go home to my forever family after September 9, once I'm grown enough to leave my litter. When I reach my adult size, I should weigh between 9–10 lbs. I'm AKC registered. I can't wait to make every moment with you a special memory.

Bringing Shiner home
When is Shiner ready to leave her mom?
Young puppies have delicate immune systems, so we and our breeders take extra care to ensure they're fully prepared for travel. Shiner must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds or more before traveling. If Shiner weighs less than 2.5 pounds, Shiner will be eligible to travel at 12 weeks per federal guidelines.
