The Tibetan Terrier is a rare, medium-sized breed. It is affectionate, sensitive and devoted and bears a significant resemblance to its smaller cousin, the Lhasa Apso. Typically weighing in at 20-30 lbs. in adulthood, the Tibetan Terrier has a distinctive long, flowing coat and large, flat feet. The breed originates in Tibet, where it was kept as a watchdog, herding dog, and companion. This ancient dog has a wonderful, friendly personality and does very well with children and families.
