The Shel-Aussie is a Shetland Sheepdog hybrid that is bred to either the standard or miniature Australian Shepherd. This designer breed will have a lot of the same physical characteristics from both of the parent breeds. The Shel-Aussie has a long head, rounded muzzle, almond shaped eyes, and small ears that usually stand erect. Their coats are dense, coarse and straight, and come in a variety of color combinations. They are an intelligent hybrid that requires a lot of physical and mental stimulation throughout the day.
