The Shih-Tzu is one of the oldest dog breeds, originating in Tibet thousands of years ago. Known as the “lion dog”, these small lap dogs were prized by royalty as household pets. I am very happy with puppy spot overall. We have had our puppy now for 3 weeks and she is AMAZING!! when she arrived she was healthy, happy, and very well socialized!! Yes, puppy spot is expensive! But... you are adding a family member!! It’s an important decision and hopefully you will have them for a very long time. That all starts with how good the breeder is! While it was scary to purchase a puppy at that price point without even meeting the breeder or the puppy I now believe that puppy spot does what they claim! Vetting the breeders, transportation, and accuracy with all the info. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I think they can do a better job of keeping you updated on your puppy. The app seemed to have some different info than the emails I received. Nothing major! Just about the progress of the puppy and the arrival time. Some updated pics would have gone a long way. When you only have the pictures online to go by it would have made me feel better during the waiting time if I could have seen that she was growing And looking healthy. The only other issue is that the people I spoke with over the phone about the transportation arrangements did not speak good English
