A small, affectionate dog, the Yorkshire Terrier has been a popular breed all over the world for decades. They were originally “ratters” - bred to catch rats - for the working class of England, and were one of the first AKC registered breeds after their move to the United States in the late 1800s. These days, Yorkies are known for being independent and feisty at times, but they learn very quickly and are keen to be near their owners. Yorkies are small dogs, typically weighing in at an average of 5-7 pounds, and, although nobody can guarantee any dog is hypoallergenic, Yorkies are often referred to as hypoallergenic because they have human-like hair instead of fur.Read More

We are a pair of empty nesters with one college daughter studying at home for now and we can’t stop playing and loving our happy, healthy Yorkie, Zeus! We had a fantastic experience with our Puppy Concierge who answered our texts and phone calls when we had a couple questions. The communication was clear before he came at 9 weeks and once we got the call about his arrival date we just needed to be patient while PuppySpot got all the details worked out. (They called us on a Monday for Friday arrival) Zeus arrived via an airline and that experience was smooth as well! Zeus’ breeder called us personally to see that he made it safely and what a joy to hear her voice and hear how much she cared for Zeus before he came to us! We highly recommend PuppySpot to everyone! We also want you to remember that little puppies need lots of care around the clock so make sure you are in a position to care for a very young puppy. We love every minute and are committed to daily training and playing!! Thank you PuppySpot but mostly thank you to the excellent breeder family who brought a glorious little dog into the world and our lives!
We love Smalley. He has been a great addition to our family. Thank you for blessing us with him. We love him tremendously ❤️❤️
