According to the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), 6 of the 85 most sunny cities in the country are in the State of Florida. Key West is the 12th sunniest city with 76% of annual sunshine while Miami is the 27th sunniest city with 70% average annual sunshine. 

Florida is also home to a wide array of pet-friendly establishments. This includes plenty of dog parks, hiking trails, dog-friendly rentals, hotels, and a few awesome dog-friendly beaches.
